As an avid hunter in the PNW I’ve had a couple scenarios happen to me while hunting:

The winds were high and branches in the trees around where I got my elk down were creaking above me. I leaned my gun against a tree 15ft away from where I was quartering my elk like I always did and a snapped branch flew out of a tree landing next to my gun knocking it over.

I was getting back to camp and laid my gun on the table that had frost on it. I thought the table was level, but when I returned 10 minutes later my gun had slid off into the dirt.

With safety as my #1 concern and tired of having my rifle and scope falling into the dirt despite the care I took to prevent it I wracked my brain and came up with a secure rifle rest that I could use in the field, at camp, and in the trailer. Using the JB LOCK I created I no longer have to worry about my rifle accidently falling over and going off or damaging my expensive gun.
